Colon Hydrotherapy:
"The Pathway to Vibrant Health"

By walking you through a typical colon hydrotherapy session on the "LIBBE", we will hopefully alleviate many concerns and anxieties of the first time client.

What is Colon Hydrotherapy?

Colon irrigation, colonics, colon therapy or high enemas are all names for Colon Hydrotherapy. A soothing flow of filtered, temperature-controlled water gently circulates through the colon, coaxing your body into eliminating stored toxins from different areas. In the past colon hydrotherapy was viewed negatively due to this modality being performed by the untrained and unskilled.

Today, due to modern advancements in colon hydrotherapy instrumentation, particularly with regard to safety, along with educated and skilled hygienists, colon hydrotherapy has become a valuable adjunctive modality.

What to expect.

When you arrive at the Jace Wellness Center, you will be cheerfully greeted and asked to fill out a client information card. At this time we will also discuss what you, the client, hope to accomplish through colon hydrotherapy.

We then go into the colon hydrotherapy room. In private, you undress from the waist down and position yourself comfortably on the "LIBBE" base. You gently and easily insert the lubricated Individually Packaged Sterile Disposable "LIBBE" Rectal Tube into your rectum, just past the second sphincter muscle. You then drape/cover yourself. That's right, because this system is an "open system", only a small tube goes in your body! So small, you can do it all by yourself if wished! We are the only clinic in the area that has this state of the art system.

Laura, your I-ACT certified Therapist, will enter to instruct, monitor, massage and be available to assist you as needed during the session. You the client, control the rate of the water from the gravity-fed column by a Flow Control Knob. The water is purified by an Ultra Violet-Ozone Water Purification and Filtration Unit before it passes through the "LIBBE" rectal tube, and gently into the rectum.

Safe, Purified, Temperature Controlled water flows in. When you feel the need to release, the rectal tube will move to one side inside the rectum and allow the softened feces to flow out, down the drain in the base of the "LIBBE" passing through a two inch clear viewing tube. An Odor Exhaust System insures the area remains odor free. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes. Soooooooo.....Relax, Breathe and Release!

How Many Sessions Are Needed?

The number of sessions needed in large part depends on the goal of the individual. Yes, one session will empty part of the colon. However, from my own personal experience as well as monitoring and assisting clients, we have found one does not normally start releasing the old, long held waste until the 5th or 6th session. Thus, the clients that have the most success, complete a series of 12 sessions. This series consists of two sessions the first week, two the second and then one a week for eight weeks. We also recommend maintenance sessions of once a quarter or change of seasons. Some people follow an ongoing cleansing, toning and rebuilding regimen for their inner body and receive sessions every 6 to 8 weeks.
